This file demonstrates traffic network for the Eastern Shore Area, MD, along US 50. The 14-mile highway segment contains 13 on/off-ramps along the westbound direction of US-50, where heavy traffic flow during holidays move to the west end of Chesapeake bay bridge. This network was used to evaluate integrated freeway control methods, including ramp metering, variable speed limit and intersection gating control.
